This boy likes to do things in his own way and on his own timeframe. Most kids lose the bottom teeth first. He decided to lose a top one.
He let it hang there for a long time. We finally just tied floss around it and told him to play with it that way. We hoped he would pull it out. G ended up doing the deed in the end.
Bl was thrilled.
Especially when he was twinners with his cousin.
Tooth #2 didn't go as smoothly or as happily.
It was hanging so badly and looked dark and yucky. So, G told Bl that if he didn't just pull it out, the tooth fairy would start deducting 25 cents per day that it sat in his mouth because she didn't want yucky teeth. We tried tying floss around it again and Blake cried and cried. I finally felt sorry for him and decided to untie the floss from around his tooth. When he wouldn't even open his mouth for me to untie it, I just yanked. As you can see from the puffy face and the red eyes, that didn't go too well. At least he got the full amount due from the tooth fairy?
